Guest Reviews:

“Charmaine’s place is beautiful. We found it difficult to leave the house! The pool is lovely and very private. We were able to have our own bbq most evenings and also walk to Xaghra to lovely restaurants. The most amazing thing about the house is how quiet it is once you’re off the main street. Thanks for having us, we will be back!” – Sheena from US. July 2018

“We had a marvellous time at this restored old farmhouse. It’s in a very beautiful and quiet part of the island, Xaghra. The farmhouse itself is 400 years old! And such a bargain given somewhere like Sicily you’d pay 3 times as much to stay in such an old and historic town and house. Close to the town and shops but worth flagging that Gozo is very quiet so definitely a fab place for getting off the beaten track. Virtually no neighbours and a giant sun deck, which the pictures don’t do justice. Pool is small ish but perfect for a cold dip on a sweltering hot day. Ramla Bay is a 25 min walk and one of the prettiest beaches on the island. Charmaine was great, fantastic communication, so speedy and accommodating. Thank you! We felt so relaxed.” – Amy from UK. ”Lots of character, small pool with nice bbq area and a sun terrace upstairs. Good facilities and close to everywhere but still quiet. On street parking. Check in/out was easy.” – Emily from UK. April 2017

”Charmaine was a great host and quick to respond. We had an amazing stay in the farmhouse and only wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect for us as it’s quiet, however the restaurants in the square are a short walk away and offer delicious food. We didn’t have a car but the bus service is easy to use and got us everywhere we wanted to see. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here if we visited Gozo again.” – Elliot from UK. October 2016

”Cosy farmhouse with sheltered terrace and pool areas. Lovely place to stay and as a base to explore Gozo, would recommend. Met on arrival in the village of Xaghra by friendly local host contact, and guided to the house. Nice clean pool if a little chilly in early May! really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house and village.” – Hannah Morton from UK.  May 2016

”Charmaine was a great host. She had someone meet us and make sure we were comfortable in the house. The place is lovely and has a real rustic feel. It’s easy to get anywhere in Gozo with a car and there are a number of great restaurants within a few minutes’ drive. The pool is great for cooling off on a hot day.” – Mollie Khedouri  from U.S. October 2015
